Winmail.dat opener

Got winmail.dat or ATT00001.dat instead of attachments? Get the documents and pictures out of it.

EML to PDF

Read .eml files and save one or many as PDF, each email on its own page.

MSG to PDF

Open Outlook .msg files without Outlook, download the attachments and save as PDF.

Open .msg on a Mac

No Mac app opens .msg files. Read them in your browser and keep a PDF in Preview.

MBOX viewer

Browse and search a Gmail Takeout, Thunderbird or Apple Mail mailbox, even a multi-gigabyte one.

MBOX to PDF

Pick messages from a mailbox with search and save them as PDF, up to 500 at a time.

Your email stays on your computer

The viewer runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read on your own device and are never uploaded to our server or stored. Only this page and its scripts come from us. PDFs are made by your browser's own print function.

Pictures loaded from the internet are blocked by default, because senders can use them to see when you open an email. You can load them with one click when you trust the message.

Frequently asked questions

Which email files can I open?
winmail.dat (also named ATT00001.dat or .tnef), .eml, .msg, .mbox, and Outlook .pst and .ost files. You can drop several files at once.
Do I need Outlook?
No. The viewer runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Mac, Windows, Chromebook and Linux, and in mobile browsers.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your files are never sent to our server or stored.
Are attachments included when I save as PDF?
Picture attachments are printed in the PDF; other attachments are listed by name and downloaded separately, all at once as a ZIP if you like.
Is it free?
Yes. No signup and no cap on the number of files: very large batches are limited only by your device's memory.

Have Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files too? Convert them to PDF and Word.
