PubRescueTerms of service

These terms apply to PubRescue (https://pubrescue.net), operated by Stanislav Semenenco, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. Contact: support@pubrescue.net.
1. The service
PubRescue converts Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files to PDF and to editable Word (.docx) files. PubRescue is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Microsoft. Conversion quality depends on the source file. Layouts, fonts and effects may differ from the original, and some files may not convert. Free previews are provided so you can check results before paying.
2. Your files
- You must have the right to upload and convert the files you submit. You keep all rights in your files and the converted output.
- You must not upload unlawful content or use the service to attack, overload or abuse our systems. We may limit or block usage that looks automated or abusive.
- Free uploads are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload; paid uploads 7 days after purchase. Download your results before then; we cannot recover deleted files. If you tick "Keep my files to improve PubRescue's conversion", we keep a copy of the original files as described in the privacy policy.
3. Free use and paid plans
- Free: previews of all files and downloads of the first 3 PDFs and the first 1 Word file of each upload.
- Starter ($9, one-time): unlocks PDF and Word downloads for the first 20 files of one upload for 7 days after purchase.
- Archive ($29, one-time): unlocks PDF and Word downloads for the first 500 files of one upload for 7 days after purchase.
- Organization ($99, one-time): unlocks PDF and Word downloads for the first 5000 files of one upload for 7 days after purchase, with priority in the conversion queue, plus a personal pass code that unlocks downloads for all your further uploads for 30 days from purchase. The pass code does not renew. Don't share it publicly; we may revoke codes that are clearly shared or abused.
Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout. Orders are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, whose buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Lemon Squeezy issues the receipt or invoice.
4. Refunds
If a paid conversion doesn't work for you (for example, most of your files fail or are unusable), contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you. See our refund policy. EU/UK consumers: by requesting immediate access to downloads you agree that the service starts at once, and you acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal ends once the digital service has been fully provided, without prejudice to the refund promise above.
5. Availability and liability
We provide the service "as is" and try to keep it available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every file will convert. Keep your original files. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence.
